This is in a separate annex from the cottage, and is self contained at the bottom of a courtyard.
Access from the road is via a side entrance.
The room has ensuite shower and toilet and electric heating.
There is a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble drier and some cooking facilities. There is a microwave but no oven.
The owner is a retired widower who spends some time at home. He lives an independent life but is happy to socialise.
The property is in a village and a car is essential. There is ample parking in the area, though nothing private.
The village has two pubs and has an excellent local store and butchers.
The owner does not expect the tenant to cohabit but would not object to overnight visitors over the weekend.
