Essendon is a very pretty village located between Welwyn Garden City, Potters Bar, Hatfield and Hertford. It is close to the Royal Veterinary College’s Hawkshead Campus (10 to 15 minute drive) and a 15 minute drive to the Hatfield Campus of the University of Hertfordshire, 15 minutes from Welwyn Garden City and 20 minutes from St Albans. The A414 is 5 minutes away, as is the junction for the A1M

Access into London is very good as Potters Bar, Hatfield and Brookmans Park train stations are within a 10 minute drive and Cuffley is 15 minutes away.
