--------------Intro---------------
I know you might be applying to lots of places but please take the time to read my ad, including the "about me" section, and let me know in your reply why you're a good fit.
If you move in then we will be living together, and I want it to be a nice friendly atmosphere. I'm looking for one more person and it is important to me that you get on with each other as well as me. I'm not making decisions in a hurry.
I always like to sleep on it after meeting someone before deciding yes or no. I hope you won't be offended if I say no, it doesn't mean I don't like you, there is a certain energy that needs to match for me to want to live with someone.
LGBTQ+ people are very welcome, and any nationality - personality is what's important (and cleanliness!).
--------------The place---------------
Shared areas: living room, kitchen, bathroom, second toilet, balcony, communal garden, bike shed, parking.
All included: all bills, fiber broadband, allocated cupboard/fridge/freezer space, and cleaner once a week.
The bedroom is fitted with an ottoman storage bed and a pocket spring/memory foam mattress. Bedding can be provided. There is a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a 32" Fire TV.
All the parking outside is free (just avoid yellow lines) and you can always find a space in the evening.
There is a locked bike shed.
Bus stops are nearby too and it takes 20 minutes to the train station.
We are close to the pretty Old Town with its nice pubs/cafes/restaurants as well as convenience stores. Oh, and the beautiful Gadebridge Park. The nearest big supermarket is ASDA, just 10 minutes’ walk away.
Council tax band C.
--------------About me---------------
I like to think I'm quite a well-rounded person. I've travelled quite a lot, including 6 months in Madagascar, and 4 years in Canada.
I held a wide variety of jobs (including being the mascot for Bristol Zoo) before becoming a physics teacher and have now moved into the tech industry.
I love the outdoors and anything active, as well as quiet nights of board games or TV. Not a big drinker or fan of late nights but bonus points if you play pool or table tennis!
I was plant-based in the past and have a lot of respect but I do now eat meat. You can share my pots and pans or use your own.
The other flat mate will arrive in November. He is very calm and friendly and had some interesting stories to tell. I think we will complement each other well and I hope for another person with a similarly good nature.
