Description
I’m looking for a lovely female flatmate to join me in a gorgeous apartment in the middle of the Hemel Hempstead town centre. The photos are for reference and are similar to the look of the flat but message if you want photos of the actual flat :)
You’ll be sharing with me :) I’m a 25 year old professional who has a hybrid role based in Hatfield. I work from home 2-3 days a week with my own office desk in my room. I enjoy going out some weekends and love to travel but I do also enjoy quiet evenings watching Netflix with a face mask on and a tub of Ben and Jerrys ice cream🤣 I keep the place clean and peaceful and I am looking for someone like-minded. I’m not strict at all about visitors as long as they’re also respectful of our living space.
Rent - The rent is £1,725 in total so £862.50 each. The rent includes WiFi however electric, water and council tax is not included. Extra bills come up to approximately £200 per person. The whole apartment is electric, no gas.
The apartment - The apartment has a console shoe storage table in the corridor and a boiler room with a bit of storage space. The open-plan kitchen and living room is furnished with a 2 seater sofa and an extra separate chair with a tall lamp, a table and a tv stand. The dining area includes 4 chairs and a round table. We have a washing machine (with dryer options), a touch control ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher and a built in fridge freezer. There is also lots of cabinet space!
Parking - The apartment building does not offer parking on site but there is a multi storey NCP car park across the road from our building that offer parking permits with a fee (approx. £115 monthly or £1,000 annually but message for details on this as I don’t drive but I have a link to the exact costs)
The bedroom - The bedroom is already furnished with an Ottoman double bed, a wardrobe, 2 small bedside tables, 2 lamps and a chest of drawers (three drawers).
The bathroom - I have my own en suite bathroom so the big bathroom right next to your bedroom is all yours. The bathroom has a large bathtub, a bathroom vanity unit with a touchscreen mirror, a large sink with drawers, standard toilet and a towel radiator.
Security - The building works on a fob system but our personal apartment door is an electric number code with a reliable auto lock feature for extra safety. The communal areas such as the gym and co working space works on a code system.
Location - The apartment is situated on the first floor above the reception. All town centre bus stops are situated across the road from the apartment and is a 10 minute drive/ 30 minute walk/ 10 minute bus journey from Hemel Hempstead train station. The apartment is located at the start of Marlowes shopping centre with lots of retail shops, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, market stools and takeaway spots. The area is lively but peaceful at the same which is expected due to the apartment being bang in the middle of the town centre.
Amenities - The apartment building offers a concierge service 9-5 from Monday to Friday, a 24 hour gym with two floors, a communal home working area , a ‘come dine with me’ dining area if you want to host a large group of people for a small fee £50, an on site maintenance team and a Parcel Pending locker service where large parcels are stored for residents on top of a mailbox unit for small letters.
Move in date - The move in date will be the 13th August and the tenancy is renewed on a yearly basis.
Checks - Upon your application, Mura Living will run some standard credit referencing checks.
Deposit - The deposit is equal to four weeks’ rent, which comes to £1,725 in total. Since it will be split between us, your share would be £862.50.
Council tax band - D (Dacorum Borough Council).
Pets - Pets are allowed and can be added to our tenancy but will be £50 extra on top of our rent.
