Double room available in 2 bed flat

My current flatmate is moving out mid-September to live with her partner, so I am looking for someone to fill the room and re-sign with me. The tenancy would commence in mid-September for a minimum of 6 months rolling contract.

The flat is a 2 bed with 1 bathroom and a living room/kitchen which I have furnished (you would only need to furnish your room). There will be an allocated parking space available for you if needed and the train station is a 10-15 minute walk. Each room has large velux windows so is nice and bright, and is well insulated (cheaper bills in winter). The flat is situated in the heart of Hitchin close to all the amenities. Your half of the rent would be £550-600/month depending on if the landlord increases the rent, with bills currently around £180/month including council tax.

I’m an engineering graduate working locally and have lived in the area for a few years. I usually work in the office, but will occasionally work from home. I like to go to the gym a few times a week and also enjoy a game of tennis or golf. I’m looking for a flatmate of a similar age who enjoys being social at times but also enjoys their own time/space.
