Double Room w/ ensuite in Modern Hitchin Flat

• 10mins walk from Hitchin train station
• Close to Stevenage (~20min drive/5min train), London (~30min train) and Cambridge (~35min train)
• 2 parking spaces plus street parking and bike storage
• Balcony and Juliet balcony
• Dishwasher, TV, coffee machine, gas hob/central heating, washer/dryer

I’m looking for a flatmate to join me on a long-term basis in my lovely modern flat in Hitchin. You'd be picking up the lease from my friend who had to pull out of renting here due to a new job offer. It needs to be rented out by late Aug/early Sep at the latest, but is (in theory) available right away.
About me - I’m 28, Scottish and work in Chemistry at GSK. I like metal/electronic gigs, weightlifting, salsa dancing, badminton and going to the pub.
The room has a built-in wardrobe but no other furniture. It is perhaps on the smaller side but with the right arrangement you could fit in a double bed, chest of drawers and a small desk. If you work from home, you could also use the kitchen/lounge (I work in the office almost always 5 days a week so this would be doable).
The ideal flatmate would be a fellow considerate, clean, easy-going professional of a similar age. (+/-5years).
