Hey there,

I am looking for someone friendly, easy going and fun to rent out the spare bedroom in my flat.

The flat is in a great location - less than 10 mins walk from Kings Langley station, the local High Street with butchers, shops and pubs. There is also a corner shop 2 mins away and a petrol station with a Greggs 5 mins walk or 1 minute drive. We are on the ground floor of the Ovaltine building, with direct access to a garden space and a private area of the canal.

A secured underground parking spot can be arranged, please mention that in your message as I'd need time to arrange.

For those who work in London, you can be in Euston in under 30 mins, door to door - great for commuters or those who spend a lot of time in London.

About me - I am the Head Brewer at a Brewery I started with my brothers and close friend, based in Walthamstow. I'm on-site most days of the week and often have to leave early in the morning for shifts or stay late in the evening for events or networking. It does mean that you'll get the flat to yourself a lot.

I've got friends and family that live locally as well as mates in London, so often out and about but after a long weekend of work and play I sometimes like to relax by cooking and watching football and sports.

I've also got a friendly little cat called Scotty who you'll be sharing the space with, he's well behaved and house trained.

About you - I'm looking for a housemate that is easy going, respectful, mature and independent. As my schedule is busy and hectic, I'm not looking to clean up after someone or entertain - ideally you'll have a busy life of your own.

About the room - The room is a double, pretty good size and as my room is an en-suite, you'll basically have your own toilet and shower/bath. The room is currently unfurnished - a bed, mattress, wardrobe and drawers can be arranged, please let me know if these are required or if you would like to provide your own.

The rent includes all bills and as the live-in-landlord, I can promise stability, no crazy rent increases and as long you're respectful, I will be transparent and honest with you.
