Room in New Barnet

A single, room is available in a bright and (reasonably) modern purpose-built block in a quiet and safe part of London. This 2nd floor flat has wooden floors throughout, a balcony and is bright, sunny and just a few minutes walk from New Barnet station (overground, 20 minutes to Kings Cross) and either a slightly longer walk or very short bus ride from Totteridge & Whetstone (Northern Line). Plenty of shops nearby including three supermarkets within walking distance and a variety of cafes and restaurants.

The room itself catches a lot of sunshine throughout the day and has a single bed and a fair-sized wardrobe in it. Both can be either used or removed as you prefer (also the Spitfire poster). While admittedly it isn't the largest room in North London, the flat overall is a very pleasant place to live and there is also the above-mentioned nice neighbourhood to consider.

The flat has central heating and stays very warm. There is the usual array of kitchen machinery including a washing machine and a dishwasher. As the existing flatmate like to cook, there is a surprising number of kitchen gadgets! The bathroom has a separate WC. There is also high-speed fibreoptic broadband, WiFi and Sky TV.

The block also has a dedicated outdoor space/garden.

Your flatmate works for a small charity (9-5, M-F) and is also a Voiceover Artist, occasionally recording from home. As a hobby, I build scale models (which is what that stuff is occupying part of the table in the living room). I also look after two cats.
