Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING ME AS I DO NOT WANT ANYBODY WASTING MY TIME OR FOR ME TO WASTE THIERS.
I .am a 58 years old woman who is looking for a logder for my loft room in my lovley house in Sawbridgeworth.
Must like cats I have 3.
Shared bathroom, kitchen, lounge and dinning room.
Available from the 15th
of January.
Price £700 a months or £750 a month to sombody who works from home.
SituatIon is...
I have an early morning job and so does my other lodger.
We only work from a Monday to Friday.
This room would only be available for somebody who works similar hours as we do.
We do not wish to be woken up between 9pm and 6am.
We only want to have sombody renting this room off me if they are clean and tidy in the comunial areas in my house.
We, have had 3 Years and 4 months of people renting my loft room off me who have not respected us or my house.
8 so far !!
My lodger has rented my other room off me for 3 years and 4 months.
He moved in when he was 22 years old.
He leaves the comunial areas in my house as he finds them.
He has never kept me awake at night.
We have total respect for each other and the house we live in together.
I may own the house, but I am a house share as much as he is.
I will not do a tenancy agreement.
I am not prepared to give anybody a months notice to leave my house if they can not respect us and my house/ our home.
If the bin in the kitchen, bathroom, recycling bag is full we feel it is not down to us to empty it all the time.
We leave the kitchen without anything on the kitchen floor, no filth in the sink, no food running down the kitchen doors, if anybody leaves our kitchen this way, they will be asked to move out of the house, our home.
We do not leave the bath with body hair in it, we do not leave our dirty underwear in the bathroom, we do not leave the toilet dirty, the basin dirty. If anybody leaves it like this, they will be asked to move out of the house, our home.
My dinning room table has 6 chairs around it, we do not leave our coats, jackets, clothes on the backs of the chairs, anybody who does, they will be asked to move out of the house, our home
We do not leave our shoes, where they land on the floor, in the kitchen, dining room, or lounge. anybody who does, they will be asked to move out of the house, our home.
I work 4 days a week.
Over my weekend, I bleach the bathroom, clean the windows, clean the oven, wash the foors, hoover the comunial areas, clean the fridge, do the gardening etc. I feel it is not too much to ask that the comunial areas are left as they are found.
I supose, we are just fed up with going behind and cleaning up after the last 8 people who have rented my loft room off me 😪.
As loft rooms can be, a bit colder in the winter months, and hotter in the summer months, than the rest of my house, but I do have a heater in the room. This room would not be ideal for somebody who feels the cold.
There is quite a lot of storage space, but not enough hieght in the room for large wardrobe, or I would move up there myself and rent my room out.
I decided I would never rent this room out again but maybe, it has become a bit if a challenge for me to find somebody like the 22 year old young man, who moved into my house, back then, who has now rented my other room off me for over 3 years, who I now do not think of as my lodger,
He is now somebody I care about and i share my house/ our home with ❤️.
