Large, spacious, light and airy double room with en-suite, to rent, in beautiful, quiet and rural location, yet only few minutes drive from Bishops Stortford, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth and Stansted.

First thing you'll notice is the PEACE AND QUIET of the location. situated in the sleepy little hamlet of Allens Green in Hertfordshire's beautiful countryside. We are lucky to be right on the doorstep of a large network of bridleways, footpaths, cycle tracks and running routes. Yet Allens Green is only 6-7 minutes drive to Bishops Stortford, or 4-5 minute drive to Sawbridgeworth or Harlow, their train stations, shops and restaurants (approx 20 minutes drive to Stansted Airport). The Stansted Express train from Bishops Stortford or Harlow goes directly to Liverpool Street or Cambridge, which takes around 46 minutes, (which makes it ideal for someone working in London, or Cambridge, during the week). A car is ESSENTIAL here though, because there is no public transport, or other amenities in the village or within walking distance. Private drive parking is available.

The room itself is extremely spacious, light, clean and airy, with two large double wardrobes, (a lot of hanging space), fast fibre broadband and freeview TV, a private en-suite shower room and a super comfy NEW double bed, perfect for a great night's sleep after a long day at work.

There are two other residents who live at the house, one is Alfie, my always happy to see you little dog, and the other young lady is my cat, Dolly May, who will probably run a mile away when she sees you, as she is a bit of a scaredy cat! So you would need to be ok with animals.

I like to keep the house clean and tidy at all times so looking for someone else who is similar in that aspect.

Due to my own full time home working arrangements, the room is not suitable however for anyone who would also be looking to work from home or work on shift patterns.

Besides full time weekly rental, I am also willing to rent the room to someone looking to rent on a Monday to Friday only basis, perhaps living too far away to commute on a daily basis, or working on a project away from home.

***Although most bills are included in the monthly rent... . I will need to reassess electricity contribution after the next electricity price increase in April 2023 and also any further increases in heating oil.
