Hi everyone,
My previous flatmate has just moved back to Spain, and I’m looking for someone to take over a joint contract and share the flat with me.
About me:
I’m Ioana, 35, a research professional in the charity sector. I mostly work from home, with occasional travel or office days in London. I enjoy painting classes, swimming, walks, visiting local markets, and exploring art galleries. Weekends are usually busy, but I also value quiet time during the week and chats over dinner.
About the flat:
Two-level flat above a bakery. There is plenty of natural light and it has been renovated 2 years ago before I moved in, which makes the property bright and clean.
I occupy the first floor; two rooms upstairs are available, to be rented as one private space.
Landlord allows a maximum of two tenants in total for the flat, making this ideal for someone who wants privacy or needs extra space for working from home/self-employment.
Shared kitchen and bathroom are on the first floor.
No garden, but there’s an enclosed balcony for laundry and storage.
Rooms are semi-furnished. Double bed, desk and 2 wardrobes are available.
Who I’m looking for:
Someone clean, responsible, and respectful, who helps maintain the flat. Ideally, someone to share chats, occasional meals and outings.
Rent & availability:
Each: £700/month + approx. £200 bills ( covering gas, electricity, council tax, TV and internet, water and TV licence)
Move-in: between Dec 14 – 14 Jan.
Short-term option available Jan–March 2026, as I plan to travel abroad and may sub-let my room and living room during that period.
