Rent: £575pm + £40~ bills
COUNCIL TAX:
No council tax if you are a student.
For non-students, the house is council tax Band C.
(You'll share this total tax with liable non-students. You will be sharing this tax with me).
You'll pay £63.3 per month.
(If you wish to renew the contract after August and find out you're sharing with only students, council tax will be twice this amount. The bill for Band C is also set to rise next year.
Renewing the contract, the rent is on average £600/room and may rise again per person).
FURNISHING:
Bedroom: Bed, desk, chair, decent cupboard in wall, drawers, bookcase. First floor and a flight of stairs only, unfortunately no access for the disabled.
Kitchen: Gas hob, oven, 2 fridge-freezers, microwave, toaster, kettle, vacuum cleaner, ironing board, washing machine (no dryer), dehumidifier also available.
There is a communal garden for smoking.
No entrance from communal dining space, must go through back.
TRANSPORT:
We are 1.5 miles/36m walk to the Railway station.
45-55m walk to Airbus, Lister Hospital and GSK.
Close to a convenience store.
1/2hr walk to chain supermarkets + Stevenage Town Centre with food stores & dining.
There are a few great green spaces and parks nearby.
