Main house is a comfortable, clean detached property in a very quiet, attractive area with good local amenities and travel links - there is a regular bus service to the train station and town. We are a friendly, busy, working household, consisting of married couple and two cats. We both work in schools. Our interests are travel, art, food and running amongst others. We are looking for a sociable, considerate lodger who enjoys their own space and wants somewhere where they have space for privacy and security.
Accommodation is quiet and private, being in a 'wing' to main house with its own door into the garden. The room has 'zones' for sitting, sleeping and working/dressing. The ensuite shower room is spacious and new. The bedroom is spacious and newly decorated with new mattress on a double bed. Ample storage in double wardrobe with drawers, full height shelves and desk with drawers. Shared use of kitchen (with hob, oven and microwave), dining room and utility room. The utility room has a fridge and food storage cupboard dedicated for lodger use and additional microwave, kettle and toaster for those busy household mornings. Ample parking on roadside only. All bills, linen/towels included. Television with internet feed provided. Professional required. Short term let acceptable, but would need to be for at least a month.
Room is offered on a lodging basis and regular cleaning is included at no extra cost.
