KITCHEN:
- Cooker, Fridge/Freezer, washing machine, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, boiler fitted in Jan 2020. We also have a tumbler at the moment (I can't always guarantee to always have one, but there is one there now. which is handy when it's raining! )
- Bring your own cutlery, crockery, cooking pans and utensils, although if you don't have these I can make some things available for temporary use until you get your own things. You'll have your own cupboard space for your stuff.
- You provide your own washing powder, toilet rolls, and so on.
GARDEN:
There is a large communal garden all around the block, which is a fantastic space in the spring and summer to sit and relax in, or to have a BBQ. We also have 2 clothes lines for your washing.

- Own large shelf for your towels and toiletries etc.
BEDROOM:
This is a large room on the 1st floor furnished with:
- Double bed, Mattress, Duvet, Pillow (some bed linen can be supplied or bring your own).

- large Wardrobe with mirrors.
- Unlimited Fast 1Gbps 'Gig 1' Virgin Home Broadband with WiFi (or hardwired internet via an Ethernet cable if required). Good signal around the flat.
- if required, I have a flat screen TV with inputs for Scart, HDMI , VHF, USB and also VGA, to hook up to broadcast services or games consoles. Log into your internet content providers via internet using a Roku system.
- The room is fitted with curtains and a blind
- Electricity sockets and extensions
- large gas radiator
- South facing window with a very picturesque view of nature, communal garden areas / trees.
PARKING:
Parking on the drive or on the road is free, no permits needed and you'll always have somewhere to park nearby
STORAGE:
If required, I can provide some free storage for you during your stay, to help you with your move, please discuss this with me if you need to do that.
PLEASE NOTE, that THERE IS NO LIVING ROOM, due to the current configuration of the property.

The flat is on the North West side of Stevenage in the much sought after Symonds Green area, which is leafy green in spring and summer and very quiet and relaxed.
It only takes 25 minutes to walk into town and you are even closer to some of the technology parks. I can send you the custom route on google maps.
(because google doesn't know about all the footpaths, if you just do a postcode search, it will send you a longer way around. I can show you the quick way)
There is a local shop, pharmacy, post office, doctors surgery, hairdresser/salon, church, florist, other shops and dentist close by.
There is also a huge Cost-Co Supermarket on Gunnells Wood Road, just a 12 minute walk away and they sell everything you need for your shopping at discount prices, plus they have maybe the cheapest vehicle fuel in town.
Although the flat is right next to the A1M, you don't really hear the motorway because of the high walls that they've built alongside it. There are no other housing estates to the West, and instead there are fields to walk or run in.
The flat also sits between two country pubs; the previously named Crooked Billet which has now become the Tranquil Turtle restaurant and the Fisherman pub just a few minutes walk away which arguably does the best Sunday roast in town.
YOUR LANDLORD:
I am an IT professional and musician in my late 40s. I am mostly in London these days but I have a small room in the property for when I am there. I have owned the flat for over 20 years and it's a great area.
I have myself rented many rooms before, so I know what it is like to be a lodger and I have family living just across the hall from where you would be staying, who will be able to assist you with any queries when I am not around.
Each month's rent is paid in advance, due on the same date of the month as you moved in (example - moved in on the 5th, pay in advance each month on the 5th)
If you need to pay me on another date of each month, you can make an extra first payment (pro-rata) up until that date.
