The house has just undergone an extensive refurbishment, so is in brand new condition.
Each bedroom has fully automated features, such as remote skylight blind, wall mounted slim TV, LED log fire (provided in addition to the central heating), mood lighting and wardrobe lighting. Each room has a good sized desk and cabinet (for working from home). Also, brand new good quality mattress and carpets.
The kitchen diner has a dishwasher, de'longi coffee machine, microwave, smart kettle and smart toaster. Each housemate has their own allocated cupboard, fridge and freezer space, as well as space in the laundry room (which has a washing machine and tumble drier, free to use). There is also a breakfast bar, with bar stools, USB and power to facilitate working from home.
There is a communal TV area (in the kitchen diner) with sofa and a 65 inch smart TV (wall mounted).
The main bathroom has TV which can be watched while having a bath (in the double sized tub). This bathroom is routinely used by only one housemate (as all other rooms have ensuites), but it is available for to all to use.
There is a good sized garden at the rear with garden furniture (table, chairs, parasol) and BBQ,. There is also a treehouse / shed for extra storage.
The house is a short walk from Stevenage Old Town with all its conveniences and Stevenage station (which provides access to central London within 30 minutes).
There is super fast fibre wifi internet connection in the house. No fees apply.
3 car parking spaces (in forecourt, off street). Bike storage also.
There is a fantastic cleaner, who cleans all the common parts, and also a gardener who tidies the outside every month.
I own and manage this house, so there is no dealing with agents or third parties. All housemates have my direct dial (as well as a house Whatsapp group) and I deal with any issues straight away. (I can get references on me as Landlord from current / former housemates on request).
