Description
Hello! I’m Charis, I’m 29 and bought this house in February 2024. I’ve had two housemates over the last few years and both have turned into great friends.
The house has a living room and kitchen-diner, and quite a large garden. I have two cats, they are both lovely but shy, so won’t bother you if you’re not a cat person. There is a driveway for two cars, the A1 is on our doorstep, and we’re about a 15 minute walk from the train station. We’re a 5 minute walk from a park with two large lakes, and there’s a bus stop at the end of our road. There is a toilet downstairs, and a bathroom upstairs that we will have to share. The spare room is next to the bathroom, and mine is next door to that. Then there is a small box room that I use as an office since I work at home often.
I work in the nhs as a mental health researcher and am about to begin training as a clinical psychologist. I’m quite relaxed and easy going. I like going to see films, see my friends, and read in the sun after work. I appreciate a live-in landlord is awkward but I’m very respectful of your space, I won’t be setting rules, or be overbearing or particular about things. I like to think I’m quite relaxed (but also clean and tidy) but I’m sure my previous housemate would talk to you privately too if you wanted ☺️ the room doesn’t currently fit a desk so might not be suitable for WFH arrangements
I’ll update the council tax band once I have searched for it. But it’s about £200 a month (£100 each). I’m also happy to be flexible on moving in date (either forward or backward) for the right person
