Hi, I am Angie, I have shared with Short term and up to 3+years for 21 years, as my ground floor secluded garden flat is just 1 mile to Shire Park and not far from Hatfield Business Park.
I am seeking a professional ‘mature’ Female who is maybe a contractor or employed, or on a training course etc.
The room/flat share is now vacant for Mon - Fri only from 3 Jan 2023 for £150pw Inc Bills There is no min or max time as short term often gets extended.
If some weekends you do not feel like going home, you are welcome to stay by arrangement or invite your partner occasionally to visit you and stay over. You can park anywhere in New Wood.
For 4-8 weeks, no deposit is required during this time. Just pay £150 in advance on a week on week basis. The room will be retained and not be used at the weekend, so you can leave your items safely here.
I am happy to clean your room, wash your bedding, towels and remake your bed.
All bedding and towels can be provided
I have always made my sharers very welcome, as if it is their home too.
If long-term M-F is required, I would be grateful for a £325 deposit being 50% of the equivalent rent of ££650pcm. returnable when you leave, subject to no damage, and one month’s notice either way.
Going forward, you can choose to pay in advance weekly, 4 weekly or pcm oreferably by standing order. Ref Rent + Bills.
The pictures say it all, but there is also an Ikea desk and swivel chair to the right of the door in the bedroom.
The doctor and dental surgeries are 4 mins walk away walk from the flat, alongside an excellent local precinct of shops including Lidl open 8am- 9pm ,Tesco Express 7am - 11pm, Fish and Chip shop and Chinese Takeaway, Boots, Newsagents with Post office, hardware store, hairdressers and Beauticians. There is a large carpark to this precinct.
It is 1.5 miles to Welwyn Garden City Train station with John Lewis in town and a large Sainsbury's and smaller Waitrose. A large Aldi is near Shire Park and Morrison’s half a mine away from the flat with petrol station.
LAUNDRY/UTILITY CUPBOARD with separate washing machine and sensor tumble dryer (to be used sensibly and lint gauge cleaned after use) and a clothes airer, although clothing can be quickly dried on the radiators in the winter.
KITCHEN - Well appointed with entrance into the Dining Room: 'Fridge with 2 shelves for your use and a drawer in the freezer allocated, plus cupboard space.
Halogen Hob which needs to be left clean for efficiency and Large Combi-Microwave/Oven, Kettle, Toaster, Saucepans, Utensils, Cutlery & Crockery etc. etc. It is imperative that you keep the kitchen as clean and tidy as you find it.
Refuse collection at present is on a Thursday and a day later if a public holiday. I will put the bin out unless I am away.
BATHROOM: Whilst not en suite, I work around your routine so it is as ensuite, just 2 steps from your bedroom across the hall.
A new white bath with handle grips with mixer taps with mains high pressure overhead shower. Vanity unit/basin with a shelf for your toiletries. Instant hot water from the combi boiler. The bathroom is to be left as clean and shiny as you find it please. Towels can be provided.
TOILET: A separate room next to bathroom with new toilet and integral wash basin and your own hand towel.
