Description
I have a room availble to rent in a shared house, only 10 inutes walk to the city centre. The room has a double bed and fully furnished with a wardrobe, desk and chest of drawers. There is a shared bathroom with bath/shower, and fully equipped kitchen and living room. There is a large back garden with decking and a shed, and a front garden with outdoor seating and table, perfect for a morning coffee (although we do need to work together to keep on top of the weeding).
I have been living here for over 3 years now with my former partner, so a few of the furnishings have been bought over the years, but the majority is provided by the landord and included in the rent. Other bills include the council tax, gas and electric, and wifi which usually comes to about £200 per month, but this can increase in the winter months.
I am a professional who works from home in the living room most of the week, with one or two days out at an office. My work involves confidential conversations with clients, so the new tennent would need to either work or study out of the house through most of the working week as to not overhear or disturb these meetings. Outside of work, I enjoy getting outside for a walk, cycle, hike or paddle, or going to the cinema or meet-ups wirth friends. I do a few other activites throughout the week in the evenings, and enjoy cooking when at home. If you have simialr interests to mine that would be a bonus! I enjoy some social time at home, but also like my own space and will respect yours when you need it. Like to keep the place tidy and organisaed, happy to take any imprevoment suggestions.
