Spare room lots of storage

We are a couple that have been together 8 years and enjoy an evening in watching tv and films but also enjoy going out for a meal. We both have a background working in care of elderly people and adults with learning disabilities for over 8 years. I (Carissa) work as my main job in our local hospital working for the NHS. My fiancé Alan works with Adults with Learning disabilities in a supported living home. We are looking for preferably a single professional person but would consider a working couple.

We bought our house in November 2024. We have rented in the past and know what it’s like to house share. The house has been painted throughout and brand new carpets in the hallways, lounge, bedrooms, reception rooms. The double bedroom we are looking to rent out has a double bed and plenty of storage. There is a downstairs reception room that could potentially be another bedroom or separate lounge (to the main one) that currently has a sofa bed in it. We have a main good size lounge with a 55inch tv, a unit and coffee table in. We have a kitchen and a small dining room.

We have on street parking. Next to our house, there is extra parking next to the side of the house between 6pm and 8am. I have a garage for one car, I use my garage sometimes when I do not have work early the next day. Potential it can be shared.

We have a small court yard concrete type garden with a small workshop connected to our garage. A bike could be stored there and there is a couple of shelves free for storage.

We have a washing machine and a tumble dryer (currently not plugged in).

We have a bathroom which includes a shower over the bath, sink, toilet, boiler and storage cupboard.
we also have a second toilet.

We are looking at £650 a month for a single person but can discuss if you are in a couple and will consider other circumstances.
