I’ve got a bright double room available in my recently refurbished Victorian house. It’s a comfortable, easy-going home with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The room can be furnished or unfurnished, whichever works best for you.
Rent: £600 pcm – all bills included
(Includes council tax Band D, gas, electric, water, and broadband)
The house has gas central heating throughout, a lovely garden with seating and a BBQ, plus a shared kitchen with an open-plan sitting area and feature fireplace. There’s also a separate shared living room, and one main bathroom with a shower over the bath. Shared areas are cleaned regularly, so the house is kept in good shape.
I also have a friendly dog who’s very much part of the household, so you’ll need to be comfortable living with a well-behaved four-legged housemate. There’s off-road parking available to the front of the house, and the location is great around a 5-minute walk to the train station and roughly 10 minutes on foot to the beach.
A bit about the household
I’m a live-in landlord and work full time. My children stay with me 5 nights out of every 14, so on those days the house has a family-friendly feel. It’s important that you’re comfortable with this and generally considerate.
I’m ideally looking for a working professional who’s tidy, reliable, and easy to live with — someone who treats the place like a home.
A DBS check is preferred but not essential, as my children live here.
