We have recently completed a full renovation so everything is modern and brand new.

The double bedroom on offer has a lot of natural light from the bay window. It is fully furnished including a double storage bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and a desk. The room also has a brand new LG Smart TV.

The house also has a guest toilet on the ground floor.

There is one other lodger in the house.

The house is arranged over 3 floors and we have the top floor with our own on-suite bathroom so there is no sharing of bathrooms.

There is a second full kitchen with French Doors opening onto a private courtyard in the house for the sole use of the 2 lodgers. The lodgers kitchen has a lovely table and additional seating plus a wall mounted 50” TV so is a lovely place to spend time.

The house features a large patio and mature garden and which backs onto a small, private woodland (accesible only via the houses).

The is also a water softener for the entire home water supply so it’s a delight too bath and shower, no typical London hard (limes ale) water.

The house has a 365Mb Fibre Optic broadband service.

Transport links: The area is very well connected to London and Bromley and the house has 2 trains stations within a short walk, 10 minutes to Lower Sydenham or 12 minutes to Beckenham Hill (for Blackfriars/Bromley) stations.

Beckenham Junction is a 5 minute bus ride away and offers fast services to London Victoria.
Lower Sydenham station has a regular 15 minute service to London Bridge and 25 minute service to Charring Cross or Cannon Street.

There are also regular busses nearby to Catford/Lewisham/Bromley.

The beautiful 85 hectare Beckenham Park is a 5 minute walk away and is currently being restored to its former glory with will feature a lake for kyaking and swimming, a new cafe/restaurant and new gardens. The lovely Beckenham village with its large selection of trendy bars, shops and restaurants is nearby.

We are a gay couple with 3 French Bulldogs and a cat, we are sociable but enjoy our privacy and quiet.


We are looking for a lodger who is clean, neat and tidy and is respectful of us and our house.
