I’m looking to replace my flatmate who will be moving in with her boyfriend in the next few weeks.
About the room and the flat
Spacious double room to rent in this luxury 2 bed, 2 bathroom flat in Beckenham. The room is fully furnished with a double bed, bed side table and a huge 4 door wardrobe. Available from 26th October for a 12 month contract.
The flat comes equipped with a fully fitted kitchen (including a large fridge freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher), a spacious lounge, double glazing and a balcony. Furthermore, there are 2 bathrooms meaning you will have a bathroom to yourself. It should also be noted that the flat is located on the 2nd floor (top floor) and is served by a lift.
Rent is £700 a month. Additionally, you will need to pay approx. £100 per month for utility and council tax bills. Both tenants will be responsible for buying cleaning products for the communal areas.

Beckenham is a safe, residential area with shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets (Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Lidl) within walking distance or a short bus ride away. Furthermore, the flat is a 3 minute walk from New Beckenham station serving London Bridge, Waterloo East and Charing Cross. There are also services to London Victoria from Beckenham Junction station which is a 10-minute walk from the flat.

I’m a friendly, honest and responsible individual who works in HR. I lead a very busy life and enjoy socialising, singing, eating, travelling and of course bingeing on tv shows. Over the past year, I’ve really enjoyed the chilled vibe in the flat and this is something I hope continues with the new flatmate – this is not a party flat. I’m looking for a professional female in her late 20s to early 30s, who is sociable, considerate, responsible and honest. I do enjoy the odd drink and a chat and so open to hanging out from time to time. The flat is very much a home rather than just a flat share and has been kept in immaculate condition. It is really important that this is maintained and as such both of us would need to ensure that we keep the flat clean and tidy e. g. not leaving dirty dishes out, cleaning up after cooking, taking the bin out etc.
