Good sized double with storage in relaxed flat

Hello, I’m Katie and I’m looking to rent out one of my rooms. As you’ll see from the photos, it’s currently pink(!), but I’m planning to repaint it, so can potentially take a new tenant’s colour preference into account (unless you’d like to paint it yourself! 😊).

The room itself has wooden floors, a built in cupboard, drawers and a clothes rail. The bed is king sized, with a brand new frame and mattress, and plenty of storage underneath. There’s a third bedroom which I plan to use as an office come spare room- you’d be welcome to use the room as well, as I often go into work rather than working from home.

The flat has a dishwasher and washing machine but no tumble dryer. All bills are included with the rent. I’m not sure if the pictures do the place justice, but happy to send more on request.

There’s free on street parking, and Lower Sydenham, Beckenham Junction and Beckenham Hill stations are a 10-15 minute walk away. For nature lovers, Beckenham Place Park is a 10 minute walk away, and the area is blessed with lots of supermarkets.

In terms of me, I work in the NHS and do the normal 9 to 5. I work on a ward a couple of days a week (it’s a non-COVID ward), so you’d need to be comfortable with that. The other days I work remotely- sometimes from home, and sometimes from a hospital office. I’d like to think I’m pretty friendly and easy going. My job can be stressful and involves talking to people a lot, so I’m partial to vegging out in front of trash TV from time to time. I also love being creative, staying active, and exploring (when restrictions allow).

I’m not in a rush to rent out the room, and would prefer to find someone who will be a good fit. So I’m happy to wait if you can’t move in straight away. I’d ideally like to live with someone who is relaxed, easy-going, and likes to have chats over the odd glass of wine.
