Welcome to Chateau Bloomfield, a quirky, quiet and peaceful two-storey townhouse tucked away through a courtyard and set just a stone’s throw from the beach. The property sits above a well-established shop in the heart of rustic Broadstairs, close to cafés, wine bars, shops and the seafront. The room itself is at the rear of the property so far less noisy than other town centre location.
Due to the property’s layout, location and the importance of respecting everyone’s privacy, the house suits someone who is in full-time employment, independent, tidy and comfortable keeping shared spaces calm and considerate. We generally solely keep to our own areas but there are plenty of lovely places nearby to meet your friends and family.
The property has a good-sized kitchen for food preparation. A first floor terrace leading from the kitchen. A large shared bathroom with a bath and shower. Plus there is an additional toilet.
My wife and I divide our time between this property and our other homes. One of the other rooms is occupied by a long-standing friend (Steven) who is DBS-cleared, middle-aged, in full-time employment and a working professional.
To keep the house peaceful and suitable for everyone, the room is not suitable for pets or couples.
We would also initially ask you not to invite guests back. We need to know you, before we meet your friends/family. You will understand this if you’ve ever lived in noisy multi tenanted accommodation and found it a little overwhelming.
There is no on-site parking. However, free all-day parking is available along the seafront and around the college area, just outside the town centre.
The room will initially be available on a 3-month agreement. If everything works well for all parties and the house dynamic remains a good fit, a longer-term stay can be discussed.
