Quiet Edwardian Home, Central Broadstairs

Room available for a minimum of 3 months or long-term.
My large Edwardian house is in an excellent location — just a 7-minute walk from Louisa Bay, Broadstairs train station, Pierremont Park and the High Street, with its restaurants, cafés and independent shops. We also have a fabulous fishmongers, a great butcher, a small Co-op and a Tesco Metro nearby, so you really don’t need a car. The Loop bus gets you to Margate or Ramsgate in around 20 minutes. The house is on a quiet road with free on-street parking.

The room available is a furnished double overlooking the garden, situated next to the bathroom on the first floor. It includes a double bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet, desk and chair.

You would share use of the bathroom, separate toilet, kitchen, dining room, living room and sunny garden. There is cupboard and fridge space for you, and you are welcome to use the washing machine, cooker, air fryer and espresso machine. The house has fibre WiFi, is clean and tidy, and all bills are included. Council tax band D.

I live in the property with two other lodgers and a friendly cat. The house is very spacious, with bedrooms spread well apart, so everyone has plenty of privacy and their own space.

We are a peaceful household — happy to chat and occasionally share a meal if that suits you, while also respecting each other’s independence. We all work full time, so we keep things quiet between 10pm and 7am on weekdays.

I ask for two references and a £500 deposit.
