Light double room in loft apartment with parking

We're a friendly couple looking for an easy-going lodger to live with us Monday to Friday in our home.

Our place is 12 minutes from Shortlands station which has trains going to Victoria in 25 minutes and 10 minutes from Ravensbourne which has trains going to Blackfriars. The bedroom has been recently redecorated, has a very comfortable (Silentnight) double bed, chest of drawers, and built-in wardrobes and nightable. Because the flat has two bathrooms, you will essentially have a bathroom to yourself, so no problems with morning showers! We're not big TV watchers but do have Virgin cable and fast broadband.

The flat is bright and large, with lots of natural light and nice common spaces. It's on the second floor and forms part of a block of only five converted flats, with whom we share a good sized garden. The neighbours are quiet and friendly, and the area very leafy and peaceful.

We're also only 10 minutes away from all the shops, bars and restaurants of Bromley, as well as 12 mins away on the train from Peckham. We have an abundance of parks and green open spaces around us, so there is plenty of opportunity for walks and jogging away from roads and traffic.

We both work in education in central London every day. We're easy-going people who like a chat, but equally are not intrusive. We enjoy having friends over, and also going out, though are quite peaceful and quiet during the week.
