Hello,

I’m looking for a housemate who would like to move in from the 1st of June 2024. My current housemate is moving out so a room will then available. I’m looking for someone who will fit in with the atmosphere we have created in the home. It’s a very friendly homely feel with shared space rather than someone looking to just rent out a room. I’m preferably looking for a female between the age of 22-40, but anyone with a friendly nature is welcome.

The house has good household appliances. We have a communal office/living area and a well equipped kitchen with a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. All of these are located the other end of the house to your room so there is no worry of the communal space causing any disturbances incase of different work schedules. The kitchen has good storage and a filtered drinking water tap, additionally there is a hard water filter for appliances and the shower. The shared bathroom isn’t attached to either of the bedrooms and has high water pressure.
The room is a generous double room with a built in wardrobe and storage along one wall and comfortably fits a double bed (the bed would potentially stay in the room however we can remove it before the moving in if you would like to bring your own). We also have a well-maintained garden with good sunlight where we can chill after a long day.

10 minutes walk to the town and 20 minutes walk to the main bus station or the west train station.
10 minutes walk to asda, poundland, aldi, sainsbury, b&m, b&q, starbucks, costa, greggs, subway, and the closest gym.
20 minutes walk to m&s, tkmax, kfc, mcdonalds, iceland, and waitrose.

My work schedule varies and my current roommate and I are very accommodating of each other lives. I would like to continue to maintain a quiet peacful home where both of us can relax and chill. Family, friends or your partner are invited over anytime.

The rent is £587 plus bills. In the winter it’s around no more than £800 and it goes down in the summer to £725-750 altogether. Depending on the utility rates.

It could be possible to bring a small dog/cat with you however I will need to double check it with the agency before in the case you have one of these furry babies.
