Double room to rent from 07/09 in Canterbury house

The room/house ~

Cosy little room, but excellent rent for Canterbury. Currentlly semi-furnished - wardrobe, and chest of drawers will be staying but not the desk. The single bed frame in the room is quite new and available for a supplementary £25. Lovely view of the cathedral and garden. Also East facing so it catches the sunrise every morning 🌞

House is very spacious with three bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room (with a piano!!) and bathroom. We also have a large garden that we are slowly bringing back to life, so if you’re someone who enjoys gardening and would like to get involved that would be great! 🌿

Location ~

Less than 10 minutes walk to the center of town, 5 minutes from Canterbury West, therefore only an hour to central London. Bus stop just round the corner. A few minutes from Westgate gardens and the beautiful river Stour.

Bills ~

Council tax band D
~£150 monthly bills and council tax, so about £500 total a month
No students as we need to split the council tax bill

About us ~

You’ll be sharing with myself, Thom (31), and Jemima (28). We are both creative and love music - I make a lot of questionable music, and Jemima is a proper, accomplished singing musician. This is a chilled, friendly house and a safe space - NOT a party house.

About you ~

We’re looking for someone who’s kind, considerate, friendly and clean and tidy. Ideally of a similar age and would be a bonus if you’re creative and/or musical! We’d love to find someone who wants to make the house a home and is up for hanging out but also respects space and alone time.
