I’m renting out two double rooms in my quiet, clean three-storey townhouse near Canterbury West station. It’s a calm, well-kept home — ideal for a postgraduate, mature student or professional on a fixed-term contract who’s looking for a quiet and independent place to live (not a party house or family set-up).

The rooms and shared space:

- Furnished double bedrooms on the first floor

- Shared bathroom with one other lodger

- Shared kitchen, lounge/diner, downstairs toilet and small courtyard garden

-Weekly cleaner included in the rent

-All bills included (gas, electric, water, broadband)

-One designated parking space available for additional £50 per month

-Just two lodgers in total — considerate, peaceful household

A bit about me:
I’m 44, have a PhD in education, and used to be a teacher trainer at a university. I now work freelance for education charities. I have my own bedroom, bathroom and study on the top floor, but I’m usually in London during the week and only home two weekends a month — so most of the time, you’ll have the house to yourselves. I'm an experienced, friendly, straightforward landlord looking for reliable, considerate lodgers,

The rooms are available for the academic year only (September to June). One month’s rent and deposit are required in advance. Sorry, no short stays, pets or couples.
