10 minutes Cycle to UKC Campus
5 minutes bus ride to UKC Campus
CCCU and Rail and Coach stations walking distance and times are similar.

The Westgate Towers and Westgate Gardens are at the end of the street as well as access to the Stour river cycle route .and a traffic free footpath to all Supermarkets and countryside

There is a secluded rear garden, (currently a work in progress) and despite it`s proximity to the City Centre,.100 metres, the street is quiet sociable and safe with no late night noise or drama.

There is a shared Kitchen , Bathroom and Sitting room the sitting room not really used soi it would be good bring it back in to a communal space,

Bathroom and kitchen are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and there is some flexibility for separate working space., storage etc.. for Dietary/ Cultural needs

The attic room is at the top the house (well it would be ) but ,having historically had to answer this query.....

The top part of the house also comprise of two other rooms, these are now unused so to all intents and purposes, other than the bathroom share ,you will have use of the top floor and the Attic. The top unused rooms do not form part of the contract but within reason, you are welcome to use one for storage ,storage as in boxes suitcases etc, so please , no fridge freezers ,broken electrics stuffed animals in glass cases, grandmas ashes , this is a good time to let it go.....

About me and a little background

I am a live in landlord, a term I`m not comfortable with but best to clarify that from the outset Rather ,I am a person who has had a a 4 person House Share for about 15 years who happened to own the house . I appreciate that as a potential sharer and having been a sharer in the past that this is more nuanced ,but can only say how It is , democratic, appropriate boundaries and anything affecting sharing together is agreed, not directed., . However, in asking for a reference from you, I`m happy to provide the same in return if you would like feed back from previous shares

Over the past 2 years , in need of a more reflective lifestyle and to catch up with amongst other things some unfinished "stuff", I have settled for just a one person share , so less domestic drama a bit more space and no queuing for the shower

My current housemate, having completed her Masters has recently left and heading back to Brazil so I am looking to make this available from August but I`m flexible with this up to September or possibly later

As it`s now a two person share, it`s pretty important we are comfortable with each other. I`m not looking for a best friend politically aligned or sharing the same star sign, but a degree of common ground helps everyone.. I have indicated general interests , but as I don`t feel that a love of cheese is anyone`s business other than my own, I`ve left that out ...:-)

It has always been quiet and peaceful and definitely not a party house and I `m looking for for someone who would prefer that .

I have not stated a gender preference but given the choice, I would prefer to share with a woman this being the case for many years and not being too big on Testosterone and Sports TV etc.. I`d be more comfortable with that. If you are a man and OK with that , we can talk..

I`d like interest from older students, ideally Post Grad, and from Professionals I have suggested a 25 plus minimum age, again, open to discussion /questions.. If you need further information, I would prefer that to come via Spareroom
