I’m looking for one like-minded professional to share my beautiful split-level apartment in one of Margate’s most picturesque renovated Georgian squares, just moments from the sea.

The flat is bright, calm and full of character, with high ceilings, large windows and plenty of natural light. Upstairs is an open-plan living and dining space, a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. Downstairs are two bedrooms, a shared patio garden and two private outdoor sheds, perfect for bikes, paddleboards or extra storage.

Your room has its own private entrance, offering a lovely sense of independence, and you’ll also have full use of the shared patio, which I’m very happy for you to enjoy.

About me

I’m a nutritionist and private chef, and I work in London during the week. At home I enjoy a peaceful lifestyle—reading, painting, drawing, cooking, looking after my plants and spending time by the sea. Home is somewhere I come to recharge, so I really value a calm, organised and welcoming environment.

About you

I’m hoping to find someone with a similar outlook on life—someone who appreciates a clean, clutter-free home and enjoys living in a respectful, considerate space.

Ideally you’ll be:

* Respectful of shared spaces and boundaries
* Kind, grounded and considerate
* Someone who enjoys a peaceful home environment

This room would suit someone who works outside the home rather than working remotely full-time, as I’d like to maintain the calm atmosphere of the flat. Of course, you’re welcome to enjoy your room as your own private space whenever you’re home.

Unfortunately, the room isn’t suitable for smokers, heavy drinkers or anyone who enjoys bringing the party home in the early hours.
