Looking for a friend

I’m looking to rent a room to aMature female housemate – £575 per month including bills.

I have a comfortable furnished double bedroom available in my home. The room easily accommodates a double bed and bedside cabinets. The shower room is shared.

I’m looking for a mature lady, preferably 40+, who would enjoy sharing a peaceful home and having some friendly company.

I’m not primarily looking to make money from the room. I’d much rather find the right person – someone kind, genuine and considerate who enjoys nature, healthy living, good food, films, walks and getting out and about.

It would be lovely to have someone to share an occasional meal with, watch a film together, go for a walk or outing, or simply sit and have a good conversation. At the same time, I completely understand the importance of having your own space and independence.

I’m looking for someone who is happy to contribute to the normal running of a shared home – keeping communal areas tidy, helping with household chores and occasionally helping with the garden, just as I would.

I’m hoping to find someone where, if we get along, the arrangement could naturally develop into a genuine friendship and good companionship for both of us.

I have some ongoing health issues which mean that my energy and mobility can vary from day to day. Most of the time I enjoy conversation, meals, films, nature and getting out when I’m able, but there will also be days when I need to take things quietly and have some rest.

I’m looking for someone who is understanding and comfortable with this. I’m not looking for a carer or personal care — simply someone who appreciates that my health can sometimes affect what I’m able to do.
