Double room to rent

Hi there :)

I’m 32 years old and am a teacher for secondary aged children with special needs. I like cooking, arts, spending time with family and friends and also just like chilling at home.

I have a double room to rent in Edenbridge, Kent for £550 including all bills (except phone) per calendar month.
It is a 3-bedroom end of terrace house close to Edenbridge Town. The rent includes: water, gas, electricity bills (fair usage) and broadband but not telephone.

Edenbridge has 2 train stations – Edenbridge Town (to East Croydon and London Bridge/London Victoria) is a 10 minute walk and Edenbridge Kent (to either Redhill direction or Tonbridge direction) is about 20 minutes walk.

The room looks over the garden towards the back of the house. It has a double bed, a mirror, a clothes rail, a chest of drawers, a desk and chair and a lamp. There is the main bathroom upstairs with both shower and bath; there is also a toilet downstairs. The kitchen has a dishwasher and I have a small utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer - these would be shared facilities along with the living room.

Outside there is a smallish garden with a patio area and a locked shed. I have a driveway with space to park one 1 easily on the driveway. However, there is space to park on the road directly outside of the house.

I’m looking for a professional housemate of a similar age who is clean, tidy and willing to help with the household chores; someone who’s friendly, laidback and respectful of the house and each other’s need for privacy. Sorry but my days of living and eating like a student are long gone (!!) Hoping to find a housemate who I can relax and be myself with and become friends too - I’ve been very fortunate with my past housemates so you’ve expectations to live up to :D

I have 2 pet chickens too so an animal liker would be a bonus! I am pescatarian, I don't expect my housemate to be but just to be respectful during food prep :)
