Description
Room: a large, light, double bedroom with built-in wardrobe and a desk/chair; plus its own private bathroom and toilet (the bathroom has been completely renovated as new recently).
Furniture and mattress included are all in very good condition. There is a small desk in the bedroom for any work-at-home.
House: it is large and light and a uniquely, modern, architect-designed, Scandinavian styled house - warm, well insulated and incredibly light (double-glazed windows both sides of house).
There are top-floor roof terraces also. It's a very beautiful and quiet place to live in and is not part of a large development - it is in its own private gated space and there is a private car parking space too. Close to centre of Faversham.
All the "mod cons" are provided and available to use - including a brand new designed and fitted kitchen (I like to cook) with a double oven, dishwasher, ample storage and a new fridge freezer and a 'smart'washing machine.
I have fast Broadband and Wi-Fi. There is also a large Sony Flat Screen TV and FreeSat Set-top-Box for Digital Channels.
Location: Central Faversham in North East Kent, 10 mins walk from the mainline Train Station to London; 2 mins walk to a Tesco Superstore, yet is very quiet here, green too, located beside a rather beautiful Church and Churchyard.
It is virtually silent at night. Hardly no noise or anything; and a lovely view during the day. Canterbury centre is very easy to commute to. Canterbury East train station is only 10 mins travel time by train (and the station is easy walking distance)
All Included: All bills are included - I mean everything ! You would only have to buy your own food, drink and soap/gel.
And as said, if I am there, I will often cook on the weekends. (mostly I will not be there, so you'll have house to yourself). So if you like good food then I will hope you will love my cooking !
About You: I hope you will look after the place (particularly as I am away most of the time). It's most important to me I find someone I simply "trust" to look after the house and treat it with care and respect. You should be clean, tidy and ideally not noisy please. But at the same time it is "your home" as well.
About Me: I live elsewhere now so am mostly away. I do sometimes pop back to visit, but will always let you know. In Winter, I do like the house to be warm; there is gas central heating and I am happy to use it too! I also arrange for a cleaner to come at least monthly, included within the rent.
