Detailed version:
The "Blue room" (Blue curtains and bedding) is HUGE (13'1"x12'9") with a picture window to the rear overlooking trees and a small garden, complete with visiting hedgehogs, etc.
A double bed, double electric blanket, two sets of 100% cotton bedding, summer and winter duvets, two bedside cabinets (with a touch lamp and USB charging point), a corner desk and chair, a 1080p 65 inch smart TV with bluray player.
The room is well insulated for the cold season: double glazed windows (with trickle vents), 4mm insulated wallpaper, cavity wall insulation, 10mm underlay and new carpet under your feet, 30cm loft insulation above your head.
At the front of the flat is the quaint village green and our bus stop. You will wake up to birdsong in the mornings, and the Post Office and General Store adjacent to the green is open until 8pm daily. There is an allocated parking space at the rear of the property, as well as on-street parking available within sight of the flat, often right by the front door. Parking has never been an issue, we are in a village, after all.
Double glazed windows throughout, with trickle vents and cantilever hinges (flipping right over if desired) for maximum fresh air on those beautiful sunny days we have from time to time. A remote control floor standing fan (very quiet) for cooling you on warm nights.
Shared use of a spacious kitchen/breakfast room (with double oven, grill, hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and washing machine) with allocated cupboard space, fridge space, and freezer space.
Shared use of the bathroom with superb over-bath shower (good pressure & hot water in 5 seconds!) with allocated cabinet space.
The communal areas (all cleaned by the landlord) are the hall, stairs, landing, bathroom and kitchen/breakfast room. There is no communal lounge.
All essential bills are included in the rent (council tax [we are band C], electricity, water rates, broadband, TV licence, buildings & contents insurance) . The landline is for emergency use only. VOIP services (eg Zoom, Skype) are included in the superfast fibre (Vodafone Fibre 2) broadband cost (max 67mbps download speed)
