Single room in Clean, Quiet House

Hi guys!

I have a lovely sunny single room to rent in a bright house in Folkestone.

THE ROOM

A bright single bedroom with modern clean furnishings. Smart furniture including mattress and bed frame with storage under bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, and hanging space with full length mirror.

Shared upstairs bathroom with bath,
WC, and hot overhead shower. Heated towel rail and storage space for your toiletries.

THE HOUSE

The house is a 3 bed semi sharing with me and one other lodger, so it is a quiet and peaceful house not sharing with multiple people. There is a double drive and on street parking plus parking to rear so always space for your car, and side access to the rear garden for bikes. The road is a quiet residential street, not a through road or main road so you get no traffic and it is extremely quiet and peaceful.

All the usual mod cons in the kitchen-diner including washing machine and dishwasher. You would have your own cupboard space and use of utensils. I’ve bought a second under counter fridge so we would have a fridge each, no fighting for space. :-) The diner area is really bright and sunny and a pleasant environment.

ABOUT ME

I describe myself as an “extroverted introvert” as I’m very friendly and outgoing, but I also value my own space and quiet time. As such I am happy to chat over dinner or wine but will also respect your privacy and understand your need for space too.

I am clean, neat and tidy and expect the same from a housemate and for my home to be respected.

I am an emergency service worker so work a combination of days and nights, there will be evenings when you have the house to yourself. I am active, I like exercising and going out for bike rides or to the gym. I love food and dining out, meeting new people, exploring in nature and activities like kayaking and rock climbing. I just ask for a friendly house trained housemate who will keep things clean and tidy and respect the house. Male/female/gay/straight and anything inbetween is fine, but unfortunately no smokers or pets, no couples and only those in employment (not working from home).
