Double room in charming Victorian Maisonette

Like Doctor Who, cats, and people that randomly burst into song? Don't mind living with people who like Doctor Who, cats, and randomly bursting into song? Then this might be the house for you!

Currently looking for a short-term tenant to join us in our old Victorian terrace. The property is a 3-storey maisonette, with all modern amenities and bills included.

The room is a quaint double room in attic with dormer window. Room compromises of double bed, bedside table, large chest, large wardrobe, desk, and chair. There is a small mirror inside the room, and a full-length mirror on the landing outside. Tastefully decorated neutral shades, the room benefits from plenty of light and some lovely features. Bedding available at no extra cost.

The house has 1 bathroom and 1 downstairs WC, a kitchen-diner, a large sitting room with a real fireplace, and a further communal room in the attic. Please note there is no cleaner- we all take responsibility for looking after the communal rooms. A tidy, respectful flatmate is a must. We're not overly clean but no one likes dirty dishes left overnight!

The house is located in a quiet street, less than a minute from the local Tesco Express/cash point (perfect for the takeaways I will make you order with me) and is both ten minutes' walk from the town centre and from the train station. On-street parking is available.

We're ideally looking for a flatmate who considers themselves friendly, but likes their private time. We all like a bit of a chat/unwind after work, but sometimes we just want to sit in front of the television, say nothing, and eat cake. A flatmate that likes food, comedy, sci-fi, trips to the cinema, country pubs, cats, reading, pretending you're an extra in a musical, Disney films and cheap cocktails would be a plus!
