In the pictures, the room available has a wooden floor. The room is at the front of the house in a quiet side street. It is for single occupancy.

2 lodgers have their own kitchen separate to the landlady's, and their own comfortable lounge/diner. They also have an upstairs bathrooms plus a downstairs shower room. The landlady has an ensuite so there are plenty of amenities for everyone and with all the expected facilities. There is a separate laundry room that we all share and there is a well-maintained large back garden.

The house is a 5 minute walk to Herne Bay train station, and bus routes to Canterbury and Whitstable are at the end of the road. The house is on a side road with free on street parking. It is a short walk to the seafront, and close to the main road to London A299 (M2).

The bedroom for rent has a tv aeriel point and good speed wifi and is comfortably furnished. There are good quality facilities and dedicated storage spaces in the kitchen and sitting room aimed at making this a relaxed and pleasant home environment for all three of us.

Takeaways on Sea Street within a 5 minute walk include, kebab house, pizza place, fish and chip shop, Indian, and Chinese plus newsagents, Co-op, post office, dry cleaners, chemist, florist, hair dresser, and barbers.

Welcomed housemates will want a quiet and comfortable home life. They will be mature minded, considerate to others, clean, responsible, and in full-time work. This is a quiet, warm, welcoming home.

We have a professional cleaner come in weekly (kitchen, bathrooms and floors) and the cost of this is included in the rent quoted. Also included in the rent are household cleaning products including loo roll, kitchen tea towel and hand towel, bath mats, washing up liquid, sponges, brushes and cloths, floor cleaner, mop and bucket, kitchen bathroom sprays etc. etc. You will only need to buy your own personal toiletries and laundry detergents. By having these things included, we all get to live in a nice clean stress free house.
