What the Opportunity involves:

In return for the low-cost accommodation (only £199 per month), we are looking to match a cheerful and friendly female Sharer (aged 40+) who is happy to provide some companionship and an overnight reassuring presence to a friendly and engaging older lady.

Our Homeowner has just turned 90. She worked as a teacher as her main career and was also a keen regular amateur actress in local theatres. Her hobbies include painting, ballroom dancing, antiques and reading. She is bright and chatty, interested in people and a good listener with a good sense of humour. She enjoys watching good films, antiques programs, comedy, and history.

She is used to sharing her home with younger sharers and is looking for a new sharer for some regular companionship and friendship. She misses the company of another person at home and can feel quite isolated on her own. She is close to her family who she is in regular touch with.

The ideal sharer will be working or studying, preferably from home, or on a hybrid or flexible basis, and happy to share some time together in the evenings. She would also enjoy sharing a few meals with someone if possible.

- A non-smoker only.
- Pets potentially welcome.
- A driver would be great, but not essential. Parking is available.

**Cost: £199 per month**

This is a monthly facilitation fee for our matching and ongoing monitoring service. You do NOT pay any rent to the Homeowner. Bills are included, although you may be asked to make a modest contribution to the Homeowner towards the energy bills, and council tax if you are working.
