Large seafront double, sunset view, garden & sauna

We have a beautiful spacious beach / sea fronted double room available from 10th August in our shared beach house in Margate! Stunning and peaceful sea views all around. The house is only a few minutes away from the Margate train station, near Westbrook Bay.

The house has recently been refurbished and we share a dining room facing the sea, a large kitchen with a double oven, 2 bathrooms, a washer and dryer. And an infrared sauna and yoga/meditation space.

We also have a house garden, with fire pit and spectacular view of the sunset! We share a large green lawn on the sea front with our direct neighbours as well. We are in the process of giving our terrace garden some love and applying permaculture principles to how we do this, anyone with shared interest would be really welcome.

In life before lock down we tended to be more of a quiet house to come home to, Margate has lots of wild fun to offer but we tended to go out for excitement and keep home as a place for a more relaxed kind of time, good conversation around the fire while the sunsets, down time and a bit of a retreat.

With lockdown some of our friends moved home to families so right now we are two women and two men in our 30s and 40s. We work in green, tech and creative industries. We all enjoy our lovely home and the space at home and sea are absolutely perfect as we suddenly find ourselves all working from home. We've got into a rhythm of cooking together which new housemates would be welcome to (but not obliged to join) and we are pretty relaxed and also happy to do our own thing. As everyone is getting used to what more working from home looks like and living is a little more communal it would be great to find someone who is interested in being part of the house.

Rent is £545 excl. energy bills (just electricity at the moment) and a fortnightly house clean. The room on offer is a large and beautiful double room with panoramic sea views, especially stunning at sunset!
