Double room in quiet house near Margate station

Double room available for a lodger from November 2025. Bills not included - these currently come to £235 each per month (gas, electricity, water, broadband, and TV License). So the total cost is £635 per month total.

Minimum stays of a week upwards considered (weekly rent £160 and no deposit necessary for stays of under a month).

The room comes furnished with a double bed, bedside tables with drawers, large under-bed drawer, clothes rail, dressing table/desk, and chair.

The house has a living-dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and garden.

Very close to the sea and train station - Westbrook Beach is just over the road. It's short walk into Margate Old Town and around a 30 min walk to Cliftonville.

In general, I'm looking for someone who appreciates a peaceful atmosphere and who will leave communal areas as they find them. The house vibe is very quiet, tidy and clean and would suit someone with a similar vibe. I'm away for work 2 days a week minimum, and often away at weekends too, so you'd have the house to yourself quite a bit. The rest of the time, I WFH, so ideally I'd live with someone who is working/studying out of the house.

A bit about me:

I work at a music promoter so enjoy going to gigs. I'm in London a lot for work, so when I'm in Margate I'm a bit of a homebody and spend most of my time reading on the sofa, cooking, or out running or walking on the beach.
