Description
Hello,
I'm Jill, a part-time admin worker, living in a 3-4 bedroom house which I am just settling into and which I am happy to share with a respectful, kind, quiet and clean lodger. I would prefer someone who isn't working from home full time. I have just moved from a few streets away, as I like the area and wanted to switch to this lovely house. I am just getting straight and need to get the room ready, but have attached a couple of pictures to give an idea of the property.
The house is located in a cul de sac, mostly peaceful although note that it is close to a railway line. It is a five minute walk from a large Tesco, a chemist, library, excellent coffee shop and other amenities. Walkable to Sevenoaks Station - about 25 minute walk. Sevenoaks town and Knole Park are nearby - many shops, restaurants and cafés.
There is a pleasant garden.
I have a single bedroom next to shared, luxury bathroom with bath and separate shower - although it would be mostly for your exclusive use. Easy access to footpath walks, a lot of nature within easy and quick reach. I'm afraid I can't offer any off road parking, but parking is usually possible on the roadside. I am looking at having the front garden turned into a driveway, which will take a little time to get approved and commissioned. I do have a parking space for myself.
Council tax and all bills included in the rent, on the understanding that electricity and gas aren't lavishly used, given the recent utility bill price hikes, so please bear this in mind.
I'm looking for a relatively short term lodger, three to six months, but there is the possibility of this being extended.
As for my hobbies and interests, I currently do a little part-time work, I read, am a member of the British Museum, enjoy history, historical buildings, visiting gardens open to the public, cooking, eating out, walking, exploring favourite and new places, time with friends and family. I have done intensive voluntary work with Syrian refugees in the recent past..
I have three grown up children who live in and around London.
I look forward to hearing from you as to why my place might suit you and a little about yourself and your life please.
Jill
