Two lovely rooms available in family home

We are looking for a housemate (or two) to join our family household.

About our home:
We live in a four bedroom house with a small garden, loft space for storage and a garage. We are a few minutes’ walking distance to the local Waitrose and high street, and the train station into Charing Cross is roughly 12 minutes.

We have two rooms to offer: one is a large double room with space for a desk, and the other is a compact double. Both have strong WiFi connectivity and neutral decor.

We have one family bathroom for the house, one open plan kitchen/dining room space, and a shared living room. There is some building work in our future but only to the downstairs WC, nothing particularly disruptive.

Who are we?
My husband, stepdaughter, dog and I make up the family.

My husband runs his own advertising business, with a hybrid home/London working schedule. He doesn’t watch sports, and more than anything he loves a clever business idea.

I also work in advertising, but I’m in town five days a week. I enjoy walking the dog, watching cheesy murder mystery shows, and lately I have taken up knitting.

My stepdaughter is 15. She is kind, funny, and diligent, and she is currently studying for her GCSEs. She splits her time between our house and her mom’s nearby.

Our dog is a 3yo mini schnauzer named Lola. She is hypoallergenic, and a first-class snuggler. We regularly take her for long walks in the woods, she has a bed in every room, and she eats better than we do. She is the star of the show.

Who are we looking for?
We live in a quiet road with neighbours we care about, so our new housemate should be kind, considerate, clean and friendly. I think we are ideally suited to a student attending one of the nearby schools, or a young professional needing to commute into town a few days a week. Must love Lola as much as we do.
