Good size room in nice area

A good size room double room in a detached house with garden in Strood.

There is a separate bathroom, shared with one other. The bathroom has a bath with shower over.

In a quiet and pleasant area. Will mostly suit someone looking for a homely place.

The room can be furnished or unfurnished and is for single occupancy by an employed person. It is not intended that the person work from home routinely in the day. There is no problem with occasional days and during snow etc. or occasionally. The room looks gloomy in the photos but that is down to the time of day and the ability (or not) of the photographer. It is actually a bright room.

The kitchen is a decent enough size with a table that can seat 4. So although there is no communal lounge there is a space to sit and chat, or if you have people round with a take away etc.

There is permit free on street parking and on a street where there is a lot of space.

I can allocate garage space if you have bicycles.

If you wish to do gardening or grow vegetables then I can allocate space for that.

None of us are vegetarian. It's ok if you are, but bear it in mind that the kitchen facilities are shared.

I don't smoke but I'm happy to have a light smoker, on the basis strictly no smoking in the house. There is a yard and smoking shed.
