A good size double room in a detached house with large gardens in Strood.
The room has french doors opening into the garden, which is super in the summer.
This is a homely house decorated in the traditional style. if you want a room newly painted all in white then this may not be the place for you !
On the other hand, it is a large private plot in a quiet and pleasant area, with good outside space. And you won't have to park 2 streets away as there is a good amount of permit free roadside parking.
There is a separate bathroom, shared with one other. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. You must be prepared to play the game properly to keep the bathroom clean and tidy and an equal turn at giving it a weekly clean.
The room is for single occupancy by an employed person. It is not intended that the person work from home routinely in the day. There is no problem with occasional days and during snow etc. or occasionally but the aim is not daily so it means that the house is quieter in the day which is nicer if you have a few days off.
The bedroom pictured is not the actual one. But it will be much the same. I will sort new photos.
The room looks gloomy in the photos but that is down to the time of day and the ability (or not) of the photographer. It is actually a bright room.
The kitchen is a decent enough size with a table that can seat 4. So although there is no communal lounge there is a space to sit and chat, or if you have people round with a take away etc.
There is an under counter fridge for your sole use; and a shelf in the freezer - with additional freezer space in the garage.
There is a washing machine.
There is permit free on street parking on a street where there is a lot of space.
There is garage space if you have bicycles.
If you wish to do gardening or grow vegetables then I can allocate space for that.
None of us are vegetarian. It's ok if you are, but bear it in mind that the kitchen facilities are shared.
I don't smoke but I'm happy to have a light smoker, on the basis strictly no smoking in the house.
We are all sociable, but it's not a party house.
