Double room (with shared bathroom) in Sturry

Furnished Double room available in Sturry, on the outskirts of Canterbury. Property is 2 mins walk to bus stop, with buses running every 30 minutes to the City Centre. Journey takes 15-20 mins, depending on traffic.

You would be house-sharing with the landlord/homeowner (me). You would have access to all shared living areas including the kitchen. The room advertised has no en-suite shower or w/c, therefore you would be sharing the main bathroom. There may be the opportunity to upgrade to an en-suite bedroom when that room is finished next year.

Be aware that I have a dog, who is very welcoming to new people, however he does shed his coat in the summer months which may adversely affect allergy sufferers. He would very much enjoy your company during the days (should you be around) whilst I’m at work.

Bed, mattress and bedclothes are all brand new, as is the clothes storage system. You are welcome to bring your own bedding and small furniture items, but be aware I don’t have a great deal of storage space.

There is no private parking at the property, even for me! There are no parking restrictions on the road outside and there is usually plenty of free space, even if it is a little further down the road.

The ideal housemate would love dogs obviously, be tidy and conscientious and above all, be able to pay the rent!!
