Flatshare opportunity available for under 40s

Opportunity available for a flatmate to move into a double or single room in my Cambuslang based 2 bed apartment.

I have recently moved into a 2 bed flat in Halfway, cambuslang and will be looking to bring in a flatmate to help with the monthly costs.

This will only suit an outgoing person preferably in their 20s who doesn’t mind living in a lively flat.

Bills are included in the rent so no hidden fee’s, but important to know that the flat will be somewhat of a social hub. I’m only looking for outgoing people who are willing to become part of the household rather than just being a lodger in the back room.

I tend to be very busy through the week as I run my own business and spend a lot of time at the office, however a lot of my time is also spent working from home which can involve phone calls and meetings anytime from 2pm-8pm.

I would prefer a flatmate who I can get to know and have a relationship with and I am very reluctant to consider anyone who doesn’t align with me socially.

As I am living in my own area, I have a lot of extended family/friends who will regularly be round for visits. I want a flatmate who can be involved in these relationships and also involve me in their lives when having visitors such as niece/brother/mother round etc.

Very much against having an independent flatmate as I feel it would be weird to live with someone I considered a stranger, we don’t need to break bread every night but a decent relationship is important.

Willing to negotiate on price depending on room choice, as the double room is a lot bigger with fitted wardrobes.

Also willing to negotiate price based on skills, eg Handyman/Joinery as there’s a few things I’d like to do in the coming months.
