15-20 min. train commute to GLASGOW CENTER: Strathclyde University, Glasgow Royal Infirmary (High Street station); Royal Conservatoire of Music, Caledonian University (Queen Street station); Glasgow School of Art (Charing Cross station), or even a bit further University of Glasgow (Partick station).

Direct bus (15min trip), 2 train stops, or 45-min walk to MONKLANDS Hospital in Airdrie.

Direct trains to Motherwell or Cumbernauld (2 stops only both directions but more infrequent trains).

Stirling is 35min drive. Edinburgh is a direct train, four per hour, in 55 minutes. There are buses to all these destinations too. The M8 is near, Glasgow a 20min drive.

Our closest train station is BLAIRHILL (or Coatbridge Sunnyside for rush-hour express to Glasgow). Also near Coatbridge Central Station (Motherwell, Cumbernauld line) and Kirkwood Station (to Glasgow Central).

The flat is on the first floor of an imposing 1900 red sandstone building in a very quiet residential street of the beautiful conservancy area neighbourhood of Blairhill (the 'posh' part of town).

2 modern kitchens and 1 shared bathroom (w/bath and shower).

Laundry machine, dryer, and clothes line. Bathroom towels and linen included.

Dishwasher, oven, microwave, etc... All necessary kitchen appliances and utensils.

Ceilings are 3-meter (10ft) high throughout the flat. Flat was entirely renovated in 2022/2023.

Huge woods and park, canals, and lakes nearby for nature walks. The Summerlee Industrial Museum and the famous Time Capsule fitness/swimming/skating center are also a short walking distance.

I'm a French-American visual artist and touring performer. I love this flat. It's quiet, clean, large and my favorite part is the short easy commute to Glasgow from an a really pleasant ('posh') neighborhood without any traffic or noise. I used to live in Shawlands and it would take me longer to get to City Center from there than it does now from Coatbridge.
