Direct bus (15min trip), 2 train stops, or 45-min walk to MONKLANDS Hospital in Airdrie.
Direct trains to Motherwell or Cumbernauld (2 stops only both directions, but more infrequent trains).
Stirling is 35min drive. Edinburgh is a direct train, four per hour, in 55 minutes. There are buses to all these destinations too. The M8 is near, Glasgow a 20min drive.
Our closest train station is BLAIRHILL (or Coatbridge Sunnyside for rush-hour express to Glasgow). Also near Coatbridge Central Station (Motherwell, Cumbernauld line) and Kirkwood Station (to Glasgow Central).

I'm a French-American visual artist and performer. I love this flat. It's quiet, clean, large and I enjoy the quick easy commute to Glasgow from this hidden-gem of a 'posh' neighborhood. No city traffic or noise here. I used to live in Shawlands and it would take me longer to get to City Center by bus than it does now from Coatbridge.
