Double Rooms in Dennistoun

We have a double room to rent in a modern flat in Dennistoun. Students are preferred due to council tax.

There are four of us currently living in the property, however two are coming to the end of their studies and are moving out in September. Of the two of us remaining, Jake is a 25 year old Mechanical Engineer and I am a 25 year old master's student studying Midwifery. Jake and I are long term partners and have owned the flat since December 2017.

The room has a mirrored built-in wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a desk and chair. The main bathroom (which has both a bath and shower) will be only shared by the new occupants, as Jake and I have an en-suite.

The flat is within 20 mins walking distance to the city centre and trains run into Queen Street every 10 mins from Bellgrove (4 mins walk), which costs £1.60 return. There is residents car parking and a grassy area available outside.
Amenities include: gas central heating, double glazing, washing machine, dishwasher, big fridge-freezer, gas hob, electric oven and grill, microwave, kettle. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and baking etc.

We're a fairly quiet flat and are busy most of the time, but are friendly and enjoy a wee chat/catch-up. We've recently adopted a dog called Blue, she's an 8 year old Blue Heeler/Australian Cattle dog. She can be a wee bit wary of strangers initally but is really great company once she gets to know you. She isn't allowed on the furniture and sleeps in her own bed shut away in the living-room at night.

We're looking for a flatmate who is tidy, quiet and will respect our need for space but who is also friendly and enjoys a wee chat occasionally. We don't mind if you smoke but would ask you to do it outside. As a student midwife working nightshifts, weekends and 6am starts the new occupant of the room will need to be respectful of this, and needs be quiet enough for me to sleep during the day and early evenings when necessary.
