Hello! We have one furnished double room in a lovely modern development in Dennistoun, available to rent from February 2025.

The room is equipped with a double bed, built-in closet, side cabinet, and set of drawers. Bedding and linen are also provided.

We have a shared lounge/open plan kitchen area, great for relaxing after a long day or for cooking/entertaining. We have an office area that can be used for working/studying from home if required. The main bathroom is communal, but we have an en-suite that we use in the mornings, so no worries about queuing for a shower. The bathroom has a three-piece suite including a bath.

The flat is in trendy Dennistoun in the East end of Glasgow. It is walking distance from the city centre, the University of Strathclyde and the Royal Infirmary. There is a bus stop two minutes away, with buses to the city centre every 10 minutes. The M8 motorway is also a 2-minute drive away. We have a carpark, but unfortunately we cannot offer a space full time - visitors are welcome to use it though. The Co-op and Lidl are both 10 mins' walk from the flat.

Dennistoun is a great neighbourhood, with terrific cafes and restaurants to try. Tennent's Brewery and Drygate are both nearby, and, the Glasgow Necropolis and Cathedral precinct are on our doorstep. The development itself is a mix of modern flats and townhouses and has been landscaped with trees and communal lawns.

We are a friendly couple who have lived here since 2021.
I am a professional (33/she/her) and I currently work part-time as a spa therapist. My partner (42/he/him) is an artist and lecturer who commutes to Inverness for 3/4 nights a week and stays in the flat from Thursday to Sunday. We have a lot of different interests and this is reflected in our space. We hope we can provide a warm and safe place for someone to consider home, who we can welcome as a friend.

We would also like someone who is reasonably clean and tidy to help keep the place in reasonably good condition.

Rent is £600pcm including bills and council tax. We're asking the tenant to provide one reference.
