I'm looking for a flatmate to share a fully furnished and modern two-bedroom, ground-floor tenement flat in Dennistoun.
Location: Walking distance to local amenities including cafes, shops, and bars. Roughly 20/25 minute walk to the city centre and University of Strathclyde. Easy access to the M8, M74, and M77 motorways, with excellent bus and rail links (10 minute walk to Alexandra Parade Station).
Entrance: Large hallway with a storage cupboard, shelves and shoe storage.
Lounge/Kitchen: Spacious open-plan lounge and kitchen with integrated white goods (microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine).
Bedroom: Fully furnished double bedroom with large window. Furniture includes double bed and mattress, two bedside tables, wardrobe with mirror, desk and chair (chair will be moved from hallway and placed in this room). (Please note: the desk chair and white chest of drawers are not included).
Bathroom: Bath with integrated shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail.
Additional Benefits: Free on-street parking (no permit needed) and outdoor space at the back of the building.
About me:
I’m currently a 2nd year Chemistry PhD student at the University of Strathclyde. I spend my free time either watching TV, cooking, working (sadly) or with my friends (who will come over occasionally). I like a mix of social and alone time, always down for an after work pint/wine night/night out etc but equally respect other peoples space and privacy and would ask for the same in return.
Notes:
- Ideally looking for a female and a student but open to professionals also.
- Additionally, the ideal flatmate will be very clean and tidy
- All bills will be split equally
- Room available from 1 December but there may be an option to move in slightly earlier
